September 9 - October 28, Wednesdays, 7:15 p.m. - 9:15 p.m.
OPEN SKATING (starting Saturday, November 7):
M, T, W, Th, F: 2:30 - 3:30 p.m.
M, T, Th: 8:00 - 9:30 p.m.
Wednesdays: 7:15 - 9:15 p.m.
Saturdays: 12:30 - 3:30 p.m.
Sundays: 1:30 - 3:45 p.m.
Daily Admission: $3.00/person
Discount card: $25.00/10 daily admissions
Skate Rental: $2.00/pair
Skate Sharpening: $2.00/pair
OPEN HOCKEY (starting Monday, November

PRIVATE ICE RENTAL: The ice can be reserved Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings. The ice rental cost DOES NOT include the rental of skates. For more information and cost quote, contact the Brookings Parks and Recreation office at 605 692-2708.
FIGURE SKATING/BEGINNING SKATING: Registration at the Larson Ice Center on October 15, 5 - 7 p.m. then at the Park & Recreation office Monday - Friday, October 19 - October 23. Participants interested who do not know which program level they should enroll in, should register on October 15. AFTER October 23, ALL registration will be at the Larson Ice Center ONLY.
Session I: November 7 - December 14: All lessons are thirty (30) minutes of instruction and thirty (30) minutes of practice time.
Session II: January 11 - February 15: All lessons are thirty (30) minutes of instruction and thirty (30) minutes of practice time.
Lessons are offered at the following levels: Preschool, Beginning, Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta and Adult. For more information, call 605 692-2708.

Fall kick-off will be November 8, 4:00 - 5:30 p.m. in the blue rink. Session I skating exhibition will be held December 12, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. The Figure Skating Annual Show will be March 20 & 21, 2010.
Want to learn more about the benefits of becoming a BFSC member?
Please join us for an informational meeting on November 15, 2009 or January 17, 2010 at 4:30 p.m. at the Larson Ice Center in the warming room. The board members will introduce you to the club while your child skates during BFSC ice time.

family orientation will be held on December 6, 2009 at 4:30 p.m. at the Larson Ice Arena in the warming room.

HOCKEY: The Brookings Ice Skating Association, BISA, is a non-profit, parent-run organization that manages the youth hockey program. Hockey is a team sport that gives all players an opportunity to experience its fast pace.
BISA currently has: 215 skaters; boys and girls ages 5 through 18; teams from termites to varsity including girls, rental equipment is available for all new players under age 13. All leagues are scheduled to begin October 28 with Hockey Weekend.
